Kurtis finished up work on the 19th of December, we spent Saturday packing up the car and addressing/stuffing/stamping Christmas cards. We got in the car and left for Texas around
10:30 pm. We drove straight through, a few stops for gas, food and a bit of shut eye and 26 hours later we arrived at my parent's house in Dallas.
We had a great time there with my family. We didn't do a whole lot but rest and enjoy being together. We were able to get a family photo even, we haven't done that in years.
(this is going to get a lot shorter...Zoe just woke up)We left Dallas, drove through Conroe (a possible place we could move since Kurtis' work has an office there) and 36, yes that is right, 36 HOURS later we were back home!
The kids did fabulous on both trips! We are glad to be home and are getting settled back in.
